Will Nasty Gal shoppers pay upwards of $2,000 for Chanel? The site, best known for its cheap, ultra-trendy clothes and accessories, is betting on it with a big vintage Chanel sale event today. The pieces appear to be pulled from the fashion house's '80s and '90s collections and are styled a la Nasty Gal with crop tops, short leather shorts and wedge heels (if anything can make a pastel Chanel tweed two-piece suit sexy, it's a white bralette). The most affordable item of the lot is a black pant for $328 and the most pricey, a quilted leather jacket for $7,200.
Said founder Sophia Amoruso to Style.com, "I sold my first Chanel jacket on eBay in 2007. Since then we've continued to carry both non-luxury and luxury items in our vintage category…and today [customers are] still demanding more." You can browse the entire selection right here.
