The Isabel Marant pour H&M press shopping event went down in New York last night, and though we were too shell shocked to actually make any purchases, we did pick up some good survival tips for the end of the world, when resources are scarce and friendship is scarcer.
A few things were different from the recent Target x Phillip Lim event, namely that people were trying on items. We assume the stakes are a little higher when $400 jackets are involved. Also, this event was actually at H&M's New York flagship, so there were three levels of dressing rooms and registers.
Staffers were restocking items as they were snagged, and virtually all of the children's garments looked untouched. Still, the moral of the story, which you'll find in full below, is shop online if you live in any kind of well-populated area. Everything will be so much nicer in pajamas.
