H&M's US Site is DOWN, Customer Service Line Tied Up [UPDATED]

New, 26 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As expected, H&M's site crashed immediately when US shoppers rushed in to buy the much-hyped Isabel Marant collection. What wasn't expected was that the crash happened before the collection even launched at noon EST. Jeez.

The other option for desperate shoppers right now is to try to order by phone at 855-466-7467. Lines are currently completely tied up with wait times of "more than five minutes." Do with that what you will.
UPDATE: It's up again! Has anyone successfully purchased anything?
