Back in 2012, portrait photographer Peter Hurley rocked the portrait photography world by launching a tutorial on making subjects more attractive by repositioning their jaws. Now, for his "most incredible tip for looking photogenic" yet, he explains how to not squint, but to lift and tighten the lower eyelid, "while only letting the top eyelid come down a hair." It replaces your lame ol' fearful wide-eyedness with self-confidence.
Peter Hurley calls it squinching. Everyone else calls it smizing because everyone else was trained in selfies by America's Next Top Model with Tyra Banks (she has an APP for it).
