Michael Kors boldly went where many, many brands have gone before on Friday when the company posted a product pic to Instagram. The only difference was that Kors paid for its placement in users' feeds, making it the first company to officially run sponsored content on the photo-sharing platform.
Last night, a second Instagram ad surfaced, as spotted by a writer at Business Insider. It's from General Electric, and shows off the company's jet engine. Writes Business Insider, "I'm not in the market for a jet engine, but this looks like a nice one." The photo is above. Sample comment on the image, "Burn in hell."
