Fifth & Pacific has been dropping brands like lame girls at the lunch table (you can't sit with us!) to focus on its shining beacon of popularity, Kate Spade Brand. Now, Lucky Brand is getting the official boot. The brand will be sold to private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners LP for $225 million in early 2014, Reuters reports.
Juicy Couture is headed to Kohl's, so it'll be interesting to see where will Lucky ends up. Regardless, it's a long fall from 2006's most Googled denim brand.
