Goorin Bros., the San Francisco-based milliner responsible for the porkpie hat that transformed Bryan Cranston's suburban dad character Walter White into a formidable-ish drug dealer/cooker on AMC's "Breaking Bad," announced that it's reissuing the style. It'll only be available for a limited holiday run and BB fans should order by December 16 to get in time for Christmas.
The $149 hat is naturally called "The Heisenberg", and you'll need to brace yourself for some millinery vocab words in the product description:
This American made black pork pie hat is hand-crafted of the finest quality 100% wool felt from Rambouillet sheep in Texas. Don the Heisenberg pork pie and find yourself transformed into "The Danger." Features a 1 7/8" brim, 3 3/4" side wall, a hand-tacked 19 ligne grosgrain ribbon and "The Heisenberg" written in yellow type inside on the hat's sweatband.Give the gift of Walter 'The Danger' 'Heisenberg' White and remember the white-knuckled viewing parties of this past summer.
