Carolina Herrera may not be swayed by the changes IMG is preparing to make for the fall shows this February. She told New York Times writer Stuart Emmrich at her own private pre-fall show that she was considering an alternative space away from the Lincoln Center circus. The set-up had "gotten too commercial, too much like a trade show," in her words.

Even when another attendee brought up the smaller guest list (just 500) and tiered spaces to come, Emmrich noted that she "raised her eyebrows and pursed her lips," which is elegant fashion designer code for, "seriously, bro?"
