Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Off-duty model chic—that I-just-threw-this-old-thing-on, nonchalant-yet-fashionable look—is usually attributed to famous females like Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, Gisele and Erin Wasson. But male models can be just as inspiring. Meet Swedish model Henrik Fallenius, a scruffy, long-haired type who favors rumpled tees, silver jewelry and leather jackets. Fallenius, who is with Soul Artist Management, has bared his washboard abs for magazines like V Magazine and GQ Brasil and posed for big brands such as H&M and Belstaff.
When he's not getting shedding his clothes for ad campaigns, Fallenius likes to do things like browse vintage stores where he finds the shredded and frayed items that are key to his undone look. The man has 22 leather jackets, so it's safe to say that shopping is a serious hobby. Tag along with him as he hits his favorite NYC haunts in our video, above.
