A tipster has alerted us to the presence of Black Friday Death Count, a ticker-like Tumblr that chronicles the deaths and injuries incurred over Black Fridays past. Per their count, there have been seven deaths in recent years and as many as 90 injuries. Recent disturbing headlines include, "Shopper Pepper Sprayed, Arrested in Argument Over TV at New Jersey Walmart" and "Thanksgiving Day bargain shoppers send 11 year-old to hospital."
The site seems to be missing one tragic death, that of a 34-year-old Wal-Mart employee who was killed during a stampede in Arkansas. CBS has more news on that story, and the tale of two shoppers hit by a car in Missouri, right here.
