Gwyneth Paltrow's new AOL On web series, The Restart Project, has landed. Paltrow paired up with her bestie and business partner Tracy Anderson on the series, which showcases women who have found health after major setbacks. As Anderson explained in September, "we focus on women who have overcome their bodies; women who have gone through really tragic situations in their life with self-medication (over-eating, over-drinking, etc.)."
The trailer for The Restart Project opens with Anderson and Paltrow (sitting a little stiffly), who introduce themselves and say that they are "inspired by women who have restarted their lives with health and fitness." We then, briefly, meet a few of these ladies. "They're not focused on getting into their skinny jeans," says Anderson, looking teeny-tiny in a sports bra, a strip of taut stomach exposed. "They're focused on healing themselves from the inside out."
