As the end of the year approaches, we're checking in with our most fashion-savvy friends to hear their thoughts on the best and worst of 2013.

Last week, we polled fashion writers, editors, buyers and more to find out what trends they succumbed to in 2013. The results were a mixed bag—crop tops, high-waisted pants, even the wedge sneaker made it in.
Today, we're asking: What trend did you resist in 2013?
Andrew Bevan, style features director at Teen Vogue: "The man clutch. Never!"
Laurel Pinson, Stylecaster editor-in-chief: "Overalls. C'mon, people."
Stephanie Trong, co-editor in chief, Fashionista: "I am so proud I did not give in to the pink coat thing. Twice I almost pulled the trigger—once on a version at Yoox and again on a great one from U.K. site Debenhams. They were both so pretty, but not really me (and I can't imagine how dirty they'd get!)."
Elle Strauss, fashion director of Shopbop: "The new 3/4 length skirt. I'm 5'1" and this is NOT a good length for the vertically-challenged."
Lisa Held, senior staff writer at Well + Good: "The Cronut. Ok, that's a lie. I should tell everyone I resisted them because they're really bad for your health, but the real reason I haven't had one is that I'm too busy and impatient to wait in line. (If anyone wants to send me one...I wouldn't be opposed to giving in. Just saying.)"
Erica Cerulo and Claire Mazur, founders of Of a Kind:
Erica: "I've said 'meh' to the wedge sneaker for what feels like a long while now."
Claire: "The crop top. Mainly because every time I tried to adopt it I just...couldn't. I think they look adorable with full skirts I just couldn't seem to pull it off."
Connie Wang, style director at Refinery29: "Fitted caps. I'm still resisting them on some level!"
Danielle Kosann, co-founder of The New Potato: "Crop tops. (For the most part...) I'll probably give in this spring though."
Kenzie Bryant, associate editor of Racked: "Nail art. Also ring stacking. I just couldn't get my ring stacking game together in time."
Leslie Price, editor of Racked: "Pastels (ugh), wide-legged pants (hard to walk in), midi-skirts (too much bother), oversize clutches (too difficult to carry), Paleo (too much meat)."
