Add H&M to the list of retailers trying to be "the next Lululemon." The Swedish-based, internationally omnipresent retailer revealed an expanded men's and women's athletic wear collection due to debut on January 2 worldwide. Though H&M hasn't divulged exact US pricing, the first round will likely range from $15 to $70.
The pieces include everything expected out of a sporty collection including weatherproof and water repellent running jackets, running pants, yoga pants, loose shorts, quick dry pieces, sports bras, and a pink yoga mat. They've also tapped Olympians to roadtest the clothing including a Swedish swimmer and Olympic medallist Therese Alshammar, who said "Our focus has been checking the pieces for fit and function, for performance and also comfort. These new H&M Sport pieces will help everyone get the most out of their sporting life." (Note: There's no swimwear in the preview). Take a look at select women's and men's pieces below, plus pricing in Euros.
