Chanel purchased a fancy-pants tannery, Bodin-Joyeux, which has long provided the luxury brand with lamb-hide. It's all a ploy to keep them at the top (right behind Louis Vuitton) by owning every part of production. Take that, competition. [Reuters, via BoF]
