Jason Wu has kept busy in the last year with two Target collabs, a diffusion line sold Nordstrom, shooting Stephanie Seymour in his ad campaign, and, of course, the whole dressing-Michelle-Obama-for-the-Inaugural-Ball thing. And now he can add beauty to his resume.
Wu teamed up with luxury beauty magnate Lancôme to create a limited-edition color cosmetics line slated to land in stores in September. Buzz words like "elegant" and "modern woman" were thrown out by both sides of the partnership, and Wu is especially pleased "that the [Lancôme] brand doesn't impose a model of beauty but rather invites women to embrace themselves."
