Stop imagining what Anna Wintour and David Beckham discussed as front row partners (hopefully this), and focus on Victoria Beckham's Fall 2013 collection. Fresh from her recent move to London from LA, Beckham had Britain on the mind. Her motherland showed up mostly in the fabric chosen: She worked with tweeds (because British heritage), knitwear (because its neighbor, Scotland), and pony hair (because hunting on horseback?) The cuts were her usual sharpness but with a stronger menswear influence than in seasons past, and the hemlines were even a little longer than her ubiquitous pencil skirts of yore. Overall the collection was strong, sexy, and wearable. Now back to Dave chumming it up with ol' Anna.
