For those who freak out over subtle fabrication, start getting yourself worked up. Derek Lam's Fall 2013 collection adopted a simple palette of ivory, camel, navy, and the occasional burgundy, but each color looked downright rich in the satins, suedes, and wool jersey. The sharp lines of the collarless caped-like jackets balances the trousers that slouch just so as well as the patchwork made from pieced-together quadrilaterals (Heck yeah, geometry class. We were listening.) He added some lace and fur numbers to mix, but for the most part, Lam has streamlined Fall into clean-nosed, minimalist style. Check out the short but sweet collection (just 27 looks!) after the jump.
