Oh, Betsey Johnson. One minute, she's "not participating at fashion week," and the next, the 71-year-old designer is doing push-ups and a reverse mini-cobra on the runway. As always, Betsey Johnson's Fall 2013 collection featured tons of color, fun, and crack energy. But the designer veered from her usual fantasy circus prom dresses to show some surprisingly wearable workout clothes—leopard-print leggings, hot pink tank tops, and tracksuit-style hoodies. They were, of course, paired with tulle tutus, flared skirts, floral chiffon dresses, and pearls.

At the show, giggling models came bounding down the catwalk—skipping, even—chatting on their iPhones. And to demonstrate just how accessible the collection was, the models—joined by Johnson herself—centered themselves on the pink yoga mats lining the runway and led a fitness routine that included substituting dumbbells with champagne bottles. The GIFs are going to be amazing!
