Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Joanna Coles fired most of the old Cosmopolitan staff when she came on board just a couple months ago, so its no surprise changes in content are going down. She told The Cut that she doesn't want the mag to be about pleasing men anymore: "And we are about women feeling proud of any choice they make. The issue is when you make a choice own it, and if it's a mistake, then move on." Coles also must be extending the new philosophy to the very man friendly clothing choices, since the 10 year Cosmo fashion director vet is out as well. [The Cut]
