Marc Jacob's Fall 2013 doubled as nail art's funeral, decry our friends at Buzzfeed Shift. The nail technician at the show told Wall Street Journal writer Elizabeth Holmes that the "shade" called "Shiny" is the designer's favorite. The reason of death per Shift:

Because if only one show in New York matters, if only one show has the power to dictate how every other American designer will design their next collections, if only one man has the sheer balls to so forcefully return nails to their natural state — rejecting caviar appliqués, claws, astroturf, printed stickers—it's Marc Jacobs.
Fare thee well mini-flowers over rainbows on a thumbnail sized farm scene. Our fine motor skills appreciate your efforts.
