Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
& Other Stories, H&M's line that will share Zara's slightly higher price points, is headed to freshly opened stores in Europe on March 8. But even though it won't be shoppable in the US, fingers crossed that the brand will hop across the Atlantic soon. And when H&M gets its e-commerce act together? Well. It's best to be prepared.
To that end, know that the brand will be built around four fashion "tribes," which include "Minimalism & Contradiction," "Industrial & Effortless," "Sophisticated & Architectural," and "Poetic & Dandy." While it sort of sounds like they're grabbing multi-syllable words to go with their higher prices, you don't have to guess how those themes translate into actual clothes. Instead, check out a selection of the clothes above and pray to ye fashion gods that the brand will expand soon.
