The plane that disappeared while carrying Vittorio Missoni last month may have been found. Reuters is reporting that a plane wreck has turned up on a beach of the island of Curacao, and authorities are currently investigating whether it could be the one that was flying Missoni and several friends when it disappeared near Caracas, Venezuela, in early January. This news follows the discovery of Missoni's luggage—also found on Curacao—last week.
The Missoni family has stayed relatively private in the six weeks since Vittorio's disappearance, issuing periodic statements to the press, but opting to forego the scheduled runway show during Men's Fashion Week last month in favor for a small presentation instead. The are planning to show their women's ready-to-wear collection as planned, however. The Missoni runway show is on the Milan Fashion Week calendar for this Sunday, February 24.
