But it looks like she did! The adorable collaboration between cool Kiwi designer Karen Walker and fast-fashion giant Uniqlo will include dresses, tops, pants and skirts for a total of 18 print-astic pieces for the fashion-forward little girl in your life. (You will need to source your own nerdy-chic glasses, however.)
According to StyleCaster, Walker's signature alphabet prints and some new, hand-illustrated designs for the line were inspired by "child geniuses." "We drew inspiration from the look of Karen Walker collections and with a little help from my five year old, Valentina, we picked out some of our beloved signature styles, such as frill hem sweatshirt dresses and boat pants, and restyled them for kids. We then added plenty of fun new prints including super-cute maths grid biro doodles of flowers, a trumpet, and of course, the Karen Walker Bunny," Walker said.
KW2 by KAREN WALKER will also include a range of women's T-shirts featuring Walker's signature charming prints, and will be available on June 3. Can't wait that long? Here's our guide to spring's seven best collabs, including Karen Walker's capsule for Anthropologie, which is available now.
