Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Shopbop commissioned Nicola Formichetti bag-making skills to hail the launch of Mugler's first bag collection on the site and elsewhere. The twenty or so calfskin leather handbags comprise the one-off capsule, and each have unique panda scribbles in pink pen and Nicola's signature.

He told us that the concept behind them was to get personal with the girls that Mugler "can't reach, the girls in the middle of nowhere." For that reason, he "wanted to fuck it up" a little, unlike the bag inspired by Lady Gaga's ass, which is presumably perfect. Get the adorably nicknamed "Muglerette" for $1,945, and be one of Nicola's galpals today.
