Nicholas K's models were on an exploratory mission to the Arctic Circle for Fall 2013: they wore goggles, hid under hoods, and exhibited geode necklaces on their chests. Sibling designers Nicholas and Christopher Kunz reinterpreted their signature neutral colors with the icy Arctic landscape in mind: glacial whites and shadowy blacks are wrapped up in loose fabrics and unconventional draping. Overall, the designers covered their heroes in what seemed to be a million and two layers. Because, you know, it's friggin' cold in the Arctic.—Anne Ebani
