In only the third diffusion line announced since yesterday, Marchesa made good on rumors promising a contemporary line slated for pre-fall 2013. A launch date for the line, called "Voyage," hasn't been thrown out yet, but it wholesales for between $100 and $400, according to WWD. Designer Georgina Chapman told the paper that, "something [design partner Keren Craig] and I had always wanted to do was more of a loungewear deal—the Marchesa in her palazzo." "Loungewear" translates to flow-y dresses, baroque trousers, and parachute pants. Lady Sybil and itinerant gypsies would be so proud.
