Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Gone are the days of middle school when bubblegum pink velour sweatsuits trolled the hallways, but the tracksuit, it's back with vengeance—in a fierce animal-print ensemble for Juicy Couture's "Bad Reputation" Fall 2013 collection. In fact, most of the line follows the same girly-with-an-edge card. There is a red motorcycle jacket, a tee emblazoned with a roaring tiger's face, and a tank that reads "Good Girls Go to Heaven but Juicy Girls Go Everywhere."

The brands seem to be keeping their pledge of allegiance to female empowerment, following last season's Girls Kick Ass campaign short, in which model Karlie Kloss starred as a high-flying, hitch-kicking heroine. Just beyond the mannequins, a video showing models posing with mugshot letter boards played on repeat. While Juicy probably isn't advocating time in the slammer, they are definitely all for toughness. And they've got plenty of animal skin, lace, and leather to prove it.
