Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Lauren Moffatt's line is always girlish and a little bit retro, so you might think her Catskills-inspired fall collection would be a straight-up tribute to Dirty Dancing. But instead of channeling Jennifer Grey in cutoffs, the 14 looks were more rustic and woodsy. Organic, autumnal colors like mustard and cream—think falling leaves and late-season flowers—complemented nautical red-and-blue stripes. A few structured coats and printed muffs added warmth, and one lucky girl got to pose in a checkered two-piece ensemble that was almost (almost!) pajamas, complete with matching watch cap. Get cozy with the gallery and (check out the designer's first collection of cold-weather accessories) after the jump.
