Meet Creatures of the Wind's Sulky, Colorblocked School Girl

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The collection is named "Candy," but there isn't much about Creatures of the Wind's Fall 2013 collection that's sweet. Sulky schoolgirls walked the runway in eccentric, mixed-fabric garments. Leather sleeves and patches got all mixed up with pleated skirts and colorblocked tops. Lapels and collars multiplied, doubling up in blazers, buttonups, and jackets. Colorblocking and belting were happening. In short, it was one big, funky recess. Take a peek after the jump.
