Competing rumors that either Beyonce or Michelle Obama would cover March Vogue have been circulating for several weeks, and now we have a winner. Beyonce has landed Vogue's March "Power Issue" cover.

The Cut reports that Queen B (as Vogue's coverline refers to her) is wearing a piece from Nicolas Ghèsquiere's final collection for Balenciaga, and they have some thoughts on why that's a smart political move for Vogue. But back to Michelle Obama: If this means she'll be coving April's "Shape Issue," get ready for a long month of speculation on what she'll be wearing on the cover.
