Just as Amazon is ramping up branded shops, eBay appears to be struggling in the brand relationship department. Neiman Marcus Last Call—the department store's outlet branch—is pulling out of eBay's marketplace, Reuters reports, adding that the boutique was one of a many large retailers eBay recruited recently.

"We parted on good terms with eBay," said a rep. "We are always trying new partnerships, and this is one where we felt we learned a great deal and were able to reach a broader, global audience of fashion buyers."
