Malandrino's sketch via WWD
Derek Lam's range for Kohl's designer collaboration project DesigNation hasn't even hit in-stores yet, but the retailer has already announced it's next partner: It's Catherine Malandrino. The third travel-themed capsule takes the Parisian-turned-New Yorker designer back to her homeland where she "wanted to step back as a woman who wants to rediscover Paris with all knowledge to make it more of a secret adventure for them," as she told WWD. Also, "Paris is all about timeless propositions."
She's proposing 80 styles that will include apparel as well as scarves, brooches, and tote bags (because French). The line will retail for $36 to $130, which is even more affordable than her forthcoming contemporary line Catherine Catherine Malandrino. Look for it at 1,100 Kohl's stores and at kohls.com come late September.
