Eva Longoria is joining the ranks of stylish women embracing their inner cat lady. The actress is the new face of Sheba cat food, and appeared on the red carpet yesterday for the brand's Feed Your Passion Campaign launch in a teal bodycon dress carrying a grey cat named Goose, The Cut reports.

This comes not long after designer Tracy Reese sent a cat down her Fall 2013 runway, making it something of a trend to appear on the red carpet with a fluffy feline in your arms. In our experience, however, there are very few cats who will tolerate this kind of outing, so beware of scratch marks should you choose to attempt a feline accessory moment of your own.
