Our Seven Favorite Pieces From Shopbop's Fall Preview

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Fashion's crazy calendar means that just as we're gearing up for spring, the fall/winter previews are taking place, dazzling us with sweaters, jackets, leather, and loads of fur. We consider it foreplay for fall. We stopped by Shopbop's preview yesterday and picked out a few of our favorite pieces from their A/W 13 lineup. Here are six of them—all of which will arriving on Shopbop right around the time we're ready to layer up again.

One of the most anticipated shoe collabs of the year is this one from Tabitha Simmons and Creatures of the Wind. Footwear collectors, start your engines.

What would autumn be without several deliciously cozy sweaters to curl up in? We're loving these from Ulla Johson and Rodebjar, a new brand for Shopbop.

Print mixing has given way to head-to-toe print matching. Wes Gordon takes the trend for a spin with this elegant green and and blue brocade. One trend not enough for you? Top off all that color and pattern with this fur-sleeved peacoat, courtesy of Boy by Band of Outsiders.

Need a dress-up pump that works for both day and night? We love this asymmetrical ankle-strap heel by 10 Crosby.

Shopbop has secured a couple exclusives this season, including these two black-and-white numbers from rag & bone.

Meet the sneakers we'll be wearing all fall: Stella McCartney for Adidas, $175.

This Sally la Point leather dress hits a lot of trends: cut outs, pleats, and leather for leather's sake included. The red is also a nice change of pace from bondage black.
