Thanks to Ron Johnson's departure from JCPenney, the judge presiding over the Macy's case against the retailer and Martha Stewart ruled in favor of JCP—for the meantime. In short, since Ron was the "architect of this entire dispute," and he's now out, JCP can temporarily sell housewares designed by Stewart as long as they bear the JCP Everyday label. So that's give or take $100 million saved. [NYTimes]
