Comedy writer Bonnie Datt once bought a chainmail vest "for clubbing"—a purchase she later came to lament, once she realized that chainmail wasn't particularly slimming. Inspired by this, she now spends her spare time asking famous people to dish about purchases which they initially loved—but ended up regretting—for Buyer's Remorse.

As Project Runway heads towards its finale next Thursday, we thought we'd check in with its newest judge, brilliant designer Zac Posen, to find out what he's had Buyer's Remorse about"

"Every time I move somewhere—or every few years—I have palm tree-itis," he told us. "I buy palm trees in the flower market. They remind me of L.A.—or sunniness. I like something tropical in an urban environment. So my Buyer's Remorse is buying six to seven foot palm trees.
