Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Forever21 welcomes jelly shoes into its spring offerings thanks to Mel, the sister brand to Brazilian plastic shoe giant Melissa. Melissa might be an ace at collaborations (recall, Karl Lagerfeld's work), but this is Mel's first collaboration, so it's starting small. Six styles comprise the collection and these include sandals and slip-ons adorned with bows and studs. Get them starting at $19.80 online now or wait until they hit retail locations on Friday.
