Bloomingdale's Spring Shoes: Dolce Vita, Frye, See by Chloé

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

This week, we here at Racked are celebrating all things shoe related. From the world's wackiest heels to the sneakers of our dreams, we'll be exploring the highs and lows of footwear. Welcome to Shoe Week 2013.

In honor of Shoe Week we're taking a look at how department stores curated and styled their particular flavor of spring footwear in lookbooks. Bloomingdale's creates twelve looks around events for each month, and even though they skew New York (i.e. outfits for Tribeca Film Festival or Opening Day at the Yankee Stadium), the ideas are highly translatable. Ace outfit for April? Making the Giuseppe Zanotti heeless wedges look after-work drinks casual (or as the site recommend "First Online Date.") Take a look above to see how they work with Hunter boots, See by Chloé sandals, DVF pumps, and more.
