First look via Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters will welcome Della, an LA-based sustainable fashion line, come May 1. To Della, sustainable means a few things: it's products are 100% vegan, for one, and they employ women from a community Hohoe, Ghana to create handcrafted wares, and the proceeds from the collaboration with UO will go back to the Ghanaian community. As founder Tina Tangalakis explains, "Della is actually the name of the first person I met in Ghana, he was the driver for the volunteer organization I traveled with and he greeted me when I arrived at the Accra airport with a warm, happy smile. The welcoming, caring person that Della is acts as a reflection of what I want the business Della to be."
The first round of the diffusion line includes apparel and accessories like a printed bralette top ($44), printed shorts ($44), a printed romper ($54), printed bomber jackets ($69), as well as a woven headwrap ($24), hats ($29), a backpack ($49), and an iPad case ($42). That's right. Everything is under $70.
