Tory Burch was famously described by T magazine as "perfectly perfect" and her clothes were once deemed by Town & Country as "the uniform for everyone from the Upper East Side lady who lunches to women across America who [want] to look like an Upper East Side lady who lunches." But here's a slight contradiction to her picture perfect image: She likes rap.
"Gangster" rap, according to a profile in this past issue of Elle, and specifically Tupac. But she adds a quick caveat, "I don't like all of his songs, of course." ("I Wonder If Heaven's Got a Ghetto," maybe?) Other music featured on her blog includes a whole lot of Prince, the Grateful Dead, Taylor Swift, Ziggy Marley, Lana del Rey, and hip-hop singer Kilo Kish, so now you know: Don't try to pigeon hole a designer until you've seen her iPod.
