Comedy writer Bonnie Datt once bought a chainmail vest "for clubbing"—a purchase she later came to lament, once she realized that chainmail wasn't particularly slimming. Did Elizabeth Moss ever wear something worse than the Peggy Olsen pregnancy outfits on Mad Men? Apparently, yes, yes she did. We caught up with her when just happened to be out with an old friend who was had been her partner in youthful fashions gone wrong. What does she regret wearing?
Elisabeth Moss: I feel like I buy so much stuff that a lot of what I buy I end up regretting. When we were in our early twenties we would jump in and out of cabs and go out at night in the shortest ruffled skirts—like with the slightest breeze they'd be up around your ears."
Racked: But you wore stuff under them?
Elisabeth Moss: Of course, we're ladies. We're ladies! I guess I got away with it at the time. And it made sense—at the time. But once you cross 25 you're like, "Oh I cannot wear that anymore. It's over. "
