Tory Burch joined other successful business ladies at Forbes' Power Redefined Women's Summit, and she talked about what all women talk about when they gather in groups large or small: Oprah. Burch credited the grand dame of purchasing power with giving her brand that little publicity push it needed. Winfrey included the Reva ballet flats, which bear the 'double T' medallion logo (See: everywhere) in her final "Favorite Things" episode.
Burch explained, "I really thought it was a joke. The next day after our show we had 8 million hits on our website." That's one way to launch a brand.
