Skechers has agreed to pay $40 million to settle a lawsuit that accused the company of lying about the health benefits of so-called "toning" shoes in its advertising. The settlement has now been approved by the court, and customers who bought the shoes are entitled to receive up to $84 per pair. [WWD]
