Last night in Cannes, more than $1 million worth of Chopard jewelry was stolen from a suite at the Novotel hotel.

Chopard is an official sponsor of the Cannes film festival and loans millions of dollars worth of jewelry to the celebrities who attend. Apparently a Chopard employee left the jewels in a hotel room safe.

Cara Delevingne, Cindy Crawford, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore, and Lana Del Ray wore Chopard on the opening night of the festival. Sofia Coppola's new film The Bling Ring screened that night. Of course— Jenna Sauers
