Lululemon's CEO of five years, Christine Day, announced last week that she would be stepping down from her post. "Plans have been laid for the next five years and a vision set for the next ten," she said in a statement. Now is the right time to bring in a CEO who will drive the next phase of lululemon's development and growth." Day promised to stay in the CEO chair until a suitable replacement can be found. "I will continue to actively lead the organization while the Board searches for a new CEO, and will work to ensure a smooth transition," she said.
And apparently Lululemon isn't wasting any time getting that position filled. Here's the official CEO job posting, as it appears on Lululemon's website. The ideal candidate has plans "to bring yoga and luon to Mars by 2018," can "hold a headstand for at least 10 minutes," and has "Chip Wilson, Bill Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah Winfrey on speed dial."
