'Jenna's Picks' Expands to Lifestyle on J.Crew's Tumblr

Jenna Lyons, who's officially the executive director of J.Crew but also the face, has been sharing her "Picks" with ardent fans for awhile. Now, much like Gwyneth Paltrow and Tory Burch before her, she has extended her taste-making reach to music, food, and other cultural activities from coast to coast. It's available for viewing on the company's Tumblr.

The J.Crew catalogue was rebranded back in 2008 into the Style Guide, which Lyons explained thusly: "Ultimately, I think what we're trying to do is create something that feels a little bit more like a magazine and a little bit more like an inspirational piece—but that is also shoppable." Jenna's Picks went on hiatus because divorce is messy, then they came back last year. And now—NOW—she's expanded the picks to Tumblr, as all magazine/e-catalogues must.
