Karl Lagerfeld has done it again. He's signed off on something so strange that we can't help but share. Meet the Karl Lagerfeld video game; It's your new addiction. Called 'Je Veux Les Lunettes De Karl', it was created to promote his new line of sunglasses, and works like this: Players attempt to grab Karl's sunglasses off the face of a tiny, animated Karl while it mocks you.
Sadly our French is rusty nonexistent, and we had to barrel through the directions and just get to grabbing. But fortunately or unfortunately, his taunting tones need no translation. Other sources inform us that it's saying "You think it's simple to see me without my sunglasses? It's impossible," and "Ah, you finally woke up?" (But we're just imagining he's calling us big-boned or telling us that our heads are oddly shaped.) When you lose, as if being demeaned by a digitally rendered Karl toad isn't enough, the thing says, "Karl has no more time for you." Well, WE don't have anymore time for YOU. Sidenote: If you notice a dramatic drop-off in news reportage today, go with it. Shop the frames here.
