Today's pick comes from Racked Chicago Associate Editor Zara Husaini.
Call me old-fashioned, but I just don't think bikinis are appropriate for every single situation. If you're on a family vacation, at the beach with your significant other's parents, or possibly even on a work-sanctioned pool excursion, you may not want to bare all. That's why every woman needs to own a great one-piece suit. Not a sporty one, not a grannyish one, not one with a million cut outs all over the place—a subtly sexy, eternally classy maillot.
This number from Badgley Mischka fits the bill. It's classic without feeling obnoxiously retro, timeless without being matronly, and ladylike without veering into prude territory. It's not cheap, but it'll last forever. I'd suggest snagging this one in "geranium," a bold, feminine hue that looks unbelievable against freshly tanned skin.
