The perfect weekend bag probably shouldn't cost $255. But it does. Longchamp's iconic Le Pliage line includes a weekender that solves so many luggage issues, you won't want to go another summer without it. It's nylon, so it's lightweight and easily cleaned. It boats a shoulder strap and leather handles, making it easy to navigate trains, planes, automobiles, and all other modes of transportation. It's carry-on approved, but it expands to twice it's size, should you decide to do a little shopping while you're away. And it folds up to practically nothing.
This particular bag can be surprisingly hard to find (it's not listed on the Longchamp website, though I have seen it in their stores). But Nordstrom.com stocks it in four colors: practical black and brown, cheery raspberry, and classic red. Make sure you're committed to whichever one you pick—you're going to have this bag forever.
Update: Longchamp got in touch to let us know that the bag is indeed available on their website, as well as in their stores. Head here to find it in chocolate, clay, fuchsia and black.
