Welcome to Beauty Wire, where we round up the day's biggest beauty news.

Badass 13-year-old YouTube star and honorary CoverGirl model Talia Castellano died yesterday morning, WWD reports. Talia originally came to national fame for her self-posted YouTube make-up tutorials became so popular that they attracted the notice of Ellen DeGeneres. Talia was invited to appear on Ellen, where the host named Talia an honorary CoverGirl model. (Ellen is a spokeswoman for the brand, which is how she got the hookup.) CoverGirl released the ad above last October.

Talia's last YouTube video was posted on May 22, and in it she told viewers that though she had been in the hospital for several weeks, she hoped to "back in the groove of videos" soon. Yesterday her Facebook page, Angels for Talia, posted, "It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22 a.m." [WWD ]

Fashion designer beauty launches are becoming kind of a thing. Per the New York Times: "You still have a lot of play coming from the historical, legacy brands, like your Estée Lauders and Elizabeth Ardens, but the designers are definitely driving some of the innovation and statements." [NYTimes]

And important blister news: Dr. Nadia Levy tells Fashionista that medicated pads can make them "10 times more painful and you can get an infection." Good ole' moleskin is still the way to go. [Fashionista]

And in this edition of leaked Robert Pattinson for Dior ads, we're getting closer to the foursome we were promised. New shots have been released and they show the actor splayed over the side of a bathtub, admiring the bare legs of a yet-to-be-named model. [Refinery29] —Alyssa Carroll
